Indiana Winter Wonderland

Would you look at this? Just beautiful....these pics are taken out the windows of my in-laws home in Bedford, IN.

Love those icicles....

The sun shining on that freshly fallen snow is gorgeous...looks like a postcard.

As much as I love our pretty weather here in Mexico, my heart does pull me "home" to this winter weather and this beautiful snow. My husband and boys love snow so much (much more than I do) and I know they'd love to be out enjoying this.

Maybe someday....

My yard looks like that too. I'm pretty sure my car is under there somewhere, but I may have to hunt for it. :o) I'll trade you for that warm weather anyday, but the little boys who are downstairs wrestling with their snowpants might disagree...

This is exactly what it looks like at our house too with more snow coming down! I need to be careful what I wish for. I had been wanting to get "snowed in". We are enjoying it though. Wish you were here...

Michael took my yardstick out and measured 10 inches of snow and ice. They were in layers.

Yeah, we're missing out on the Winter Storm of '09, aren't we?

My heart is agreeing with your heart. When I first came to your blog, your pics of this beautiful snow popped up, but your words hadn't come up yet. I thought to myself...do they have snow like that where they are? =) We miss the snow so badly too. When we see on someone's FB or blog that they are enjoying the snow...it makes us miss the good ole USA. But like you indicated...we're enjoying living where God has us for now, and someday we'll enjoy the snow again. =)
Beautiful pics!
Your tortillas look great and yummy in your post below. (A mi me gusta las mapas que usted hizo...parecen ricos. =)

That last picture would make a beautiful picture on the wall or do as a puzzle. Thanks for sharing
