Love this time of year....
On Thanksgiving evening, the boys and I put up the Christmas tree. Oh, and Marc read the instructions for the tree assembly from his easy chair. :-) Christmas music was playing and we were making memories...
It is very pretty, Melodie! Tell Marc and the boys HI from the Cook family. You all have been thought about so much here. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We are so blessed, aren't we?! We both nearly lost our best friend, our husbands, this year, but God spared them! Not sure how long He will keep Ron here, but I have to say that He sure has allowed me to have a wonderful husband! Well, you just keep pressing on! You all are so loved by so many people. It seems like you have had your share of battles, but it looks like God is helping you all to perservere! I am proud of ya!
You folks are certainly going through the fires of refinement, but I must say that you are shining like pure gold. What a beautiful example of holiness you are for others. Keep looking up to Jesus-the goldsmith is never far away when we are being refined. Love your GBS friends, Sherry and Bud in Phoenix, AZ
I too LOVE this time of year!! Your tree is pretty. We enjoyed seeing Dad and Mom Sankey and the Stetlers at the GBS Christmas program. It was neat because the Stetlers, the Richenbachs and our family were all there the same night. Wish y'all could have been there too. We just happened to be there on the VERY LAST TIME that Bro. Wolf directed the GBS choir in a Christmas program. (He didn't direct on Saturday or Sunday nights. As you have probably heard this is his last year at GBS.) I was glad to see a picture of Marc. WOW! The surgeons did a good job with his face! I still am amazed at allll he went through and is still alive. God is awesome! We are done traveling and are taking a few days to rest before we head back to South America at the end of Jan., Lord willing. May y'all have a blessed Christmas. We love and appreciate y'all! Thank you for what you are doing to shine for Jesus there!
