And a little better today....

Logan is improving slowly. The redness, inflammation, and swelling are going down very gradually. For this, we are very thankful. His doctors do want to keep him in the hospital over the weekend, do a repeat CT scan of his eye on Monday, and release him then if it is satisfactory.

Brushing those teeth after his shower this morning

The balloons and candy from Logan's friends at the Franklin Bible Methodist Church - thank you!

Just "chillin' out" with his DVD player

He's had a lot of fun stuff going on today to help with his boredom...my rough and tumble boy "just wants to be outside playing, that's all!" (his words)

Sponge Bob came to visit Logan today as well as some students from the Pan American University. They read books to the kids, gave out toys and restaurant gift certificates for Kids Meals, etc....plus cousin Kent is here to play games - the best part!

Thank you for praying for Logan.

Hello to the Sankey family. We don't know you all personally but, I beleive you have posted on our daughter,Andrea's website. I got your blog address from Sarah Holden. Sarah's brother, Dave Boardman and his family attend the church we pastor. I have been praying for Logan and am so glad he is feeling better! The hospital does get boring really fast...especially for boys!! We will continue to keep your family in our prayers! God Bless you as you work for Him!! Sincerely, Jen Truitt

Wow, how nice to see a couple of my grandsons pictures:-). That sponge bob person looked kind of funny and seemed to have Logan quite tickled. How nice they have some activities for "active" kids. Thanks for all the up-to-date info. Our prayers continue with you.

Dear Marc, Melodie, Logan, Cameron (sp?), and Jordan, I have been wanting to write you for a few days and let you know that you have really been on my heart. Sorry, Logan and Dad and Mom, for all you have been facing. I know that you all are pure gold and I hate to see you all have to go through the fire like this. Keep looking up. You all are great examples for all of us. We will continue to pray for your dear family. We are very happy to see improvement! Praise God!

Melodie,
Since baby and I are still too ill to go to church...Tonight I got to tune in and watch the evening service at your church in Ohio, FBMC! YEA! I normally watch Hobe Sound FL's services, but couldn't get on today, so tried the Franklin service! I've had trouble getting their services to come on in times past, but today I had no trouble. I watched the whole service and really enjoyed it! It was a blessing! I was scanning the crowd for all of our fellow bloggers. I saw Tamra, and Janella's husband, and Kris, but couldn't find some of the rest. Just thought that I'd drop by to tell you that I surely enjoyed "attending" the Franklin church tonight! =D It was sweet to hear them request prayer for and PRAY HARD for little Logan's eye and ya'll at this time!!

Love, Heather =)
