Home Again

Logan was released from the hospital this evening with his peripheral IV in place. I will give the next 2 infusions of Vancomycin through this IV. Then we have to take him to have his 3rd PICC line put in tomorrow at the Children's Hospital.

Logan is scheduled for a biopsy of the inflamed tissue behind his eye on Tuesday at yet another hospital here in the Valley. We are monitoring him closely for the next few days off the steroids to see what happens with his eye.

Please continue to pray for him - and thank you again for your love and concern for our family.

Melodie...you are doing such a great job at keeping everyone informed of the situation with Logan. Great job! I am sure that your time is very limited right now, but everyone does appreciate your taking the time to blog about it.

I love you and am very proud of you, nurse! Logan couldn't have a better nurse then you. I want to be with you so bad. I am praying for you daily...lots of times. Lv u...

Praying for you. Melodie, you're a trooper, making all these adjustments -- home, nurse, worried mom -- I know God is giving you His strength. Marc, may the Lord guide you and give you His peace. You are in our thoughts.

"For this, I have Jesus."

Thank you for encouraging me with your faith, Melodie. We were just basking in a few memories the other day and missing you all so much.
