Best-Ever Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake

I've decided to try to make this absolutely scrumptious looking Best-Ever Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake from the Kraft Food and Family Magazine for my dear husband who's turning 38 on Monday. If you know him at all, you'll understand how this will so make his day! Let's hope I can pull it off.

YUM!!! Rodney doesn't like chocolate so I don't make chocolatey things very often...if there is some left over will you send it my way? I LOVE chocolate!

That looks obscenely good. Since I'm dieting, I'll just look longingly at yours. (sob...)

I'm sure you will pull it off without a problem. I'm guessing he's not thinking about his sugar levels for his birthday? :) Why not, everyone needs a day to splurge!

The cake looks wonderful! I'm sure it will turn out great! Thanks so much for your post on Andrea's website! They have been a great encouragement to us! We continue to keep you all in our prayers as you go through this trying time! God's ways are not our ways but it is great to know that His way is best! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Love, Jennifer Truitt

I've been wanting to make this cake. Randy and Nate aren't chocolate cake eaters so I would end up eating it all myself and that is not good! Let us know how it turns out.

Was the picture your cake or the picture in the magazine? If it was yours you should go for show! That looks yummy and showy!

I've only made that cake 3 times recently. I love it and what sets it apart is the the chocolate chunks inside. ENJOY!

That cake is AWESOME! I made it a couple of weeks ago and it had my husband - not a cake lovin' kind of guy - absolutely RAVING!

As a fellow who shares Marc's and his father's prediliction for chocolate, I pronounce the cake an awesome looking chunk of pastry and would sure like to have some. Problem: My birthday went past about 11 days ago.
